After last night's gastrointestinal nightmare, I'm just not feeling very funny today. So I thought I'd send you all over to The Scarlett to see her hilarious post about Victoria's Secret.
Do any of you know any REAL women who actually wear this crap? Not to give too much information but my hubby has to deal with me in my flannel jammies. I hate wearing nightgowns and silk just doesn't do it for me. It gets all staticky and it's not nearly warm enough. Ever - winter or summer. Sorry Big D!

I wouldn't dare wear any of that junk.
My poor husband is another of those patient men that has to tolerate my cotton t-shirts and jogging pants (although I have mostly graduated to the cute print sleep pants lately). I don't "do" silk either.
Michele sent me. Glad to be here! :)
girl, I have all kinds of that stuff, but it isn't comfortable to sleep in! we all KNOW that!!!!!
I prefer an old cotton t-shirt. haha.
ok - cmhl TOTALLY got me. Those things aren't really for WEARING - they're for TAKING OFF! But still, the ones that The Scarlett shows are really hideous (and probably hard to get out of!)
Hey, thanks for the link today. I added you to my blogroll as you've got some great things to say.
I always thought that the whole point of lingerie was to turn someone on and not to make them start giggling like a little girl. The stuff I posted seemed to do the later rather than the former.
Jess - The Scarlett does give two very good alternatives. I think La Perla is more your style than AP but I'll buy you anything you want from either!
LOL! Big D, I'll take you up on that offer. There is a La Perla on Michigan Avenue, by the way. *hint* ;-)
I am so with you on this one. I have to have cotton or something soft like that. Satin and silk and lace are all too uncomfortable.
Duh! Those things are NOT for wearing to SLEEP in. I have many of those things. It's like the very wise Jerry Hall once said: "To have a successful marriage you have to be a cook in the kitchen, a hostess in the living room, and a whore in the bedroom." Okay, so I only subscribe to the last one -- but it keeps the home fires burning!
Well MIM, you and Jerry Hall have the bodies to where those things! Those of us who, ahem, are a little more bottom heavy (and top light?) have it a bit tougher. But I will give it a try - as I told Big D . . . La Perla awaits!
Hey, you got your dh to offer you La Perla on your blog? How can I get that to happen!
Lots of crazy pics over there on Scarlett's blog.
