M-Girl and I went to The Gap last night to get her some clothes because despite the fact that I keep asking her nicely not to, she keeps growing. At the registers, they have glass bowls full of purple, sparkly lip gloss.
M-Girl pulled one out and said "Mom, can I have this?"
I said, "No, please put it back. Lord knows you have enough lip gloss."
M-Girl looks at me and says, "Who's Lord?"

Ha Ha Ha! That cracked me up.
I'm glad to hear that we're not the only ones with a growing lip gloss addiction. Unfortunately, in our case, it's genetic. Or hereditary. Or nuture. Whatever, it's not her fault.
Very cute....hey what is one more lip gloss! Life is short and gloss is cheap...wait til she starts asking for cars or LV hand bags...maybe gloss ain't so bad...<: -)
Product placement really works, I'm always grabbing stuff while waiting at the checkout. This weekend was beautiful, I went shopping down Michigan Avenue and it was great!
Oh I can just see that! Thanks for putting a smile on my face this morning....
Haha! Ok..I know I am behind but how old is she? I have a 4 1/2 year old that is trying to become a teenager already.
Jill - She just turned 5 two months ago. It's a great (but sometimes frustrating) age!
